Enrollment Overview

In the fall of 2020 D’Evelyn Jr./Sr. High will be welcoming our inaugural 6th grade class. Hence, we will now be accepting student applications for 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade only.

Jefferson County Public Schools is in its second year using the Enroll Jeffco system.  Families interested in attending D’Evelyn will need to complete an online enrollment application for each student to be eligible for the lottery.  Your login credentials are the same as Jeffco Connect.  Should you be new to the district, you will need to establish access for Jeffco Connect.

Starting October 16, 2019 families can access EnrollJeffco School Finder to view profiles for all of our Jeffco Schools.  The first round of choice enrollment will be open from December 10, 2019 - January 15, 2020.  During this window families can log-in and complete the choice enrollment application for the lottery. Please note that D’Evelyn enrollment is contingent on earning a spot through the lottery process AND having attended a parent meeting.

School choice is an important responsibility of all families.  D’Evelyn is an option school with a unique, liberal arts, 6 - 12 academic program.  It is critical for families to make thoughtful decisions in the selection of schools for their child(ren).  As a result, we ask all families interested in enrolling their students at D’Evelyn to attend at least one Prospective Student Information Meeting.

Our Prospective Student Information Meetings are designed to give families more information about D’Evelyn’s Philosophy, program, and operating principles. Interested families only need to attend one of the following Prospective Student Information Meetings:

  • Saturday, November 9, 2019, 8 am
  • Thursday, December 12, 2019, 7 pm
  • Thursday, December 19, 2019, 7 pm
  • Tuesday, January 7, 2020 (only for students interested in 9th grade), 7 pm
  • Thursday, January 9, 2020, 7 pm

Additionally, the D’Evelyn faculty, staff, and administration will host an Open House event from 9 AM - noon on Saturday, November 9th.  This will be a great chance for interested students and families to meet D’Evelyn students, teachers, coaches, club sponsors, and administrators, to learn more about the school, and tour the D’Evelyn campus.
