Junior High Student Council

Students are elected into Junior High Student Council (8th grade in the preceding spring and 6th-7th grades in the fall of this year) and they run fundraisers, charity drives, a section of hallway during Trick-or-Treat Street, pep rally events (in support of Sr. High Student Council), decorate for spirit weeks, and run 6th and 7th grade dances/socials.

It occurs mostly during 7th hour, but some additional outside-of-school time is also required on occasion (e.g. Trick-or-Treat Street). It is also a great preparation for Sr. High Student Council - most of the Sr. High Student Council members have already participated in and held leadership roles within Jr. High Student Council.
