Postsecondary Opportunities at D’Evelyn Junior-Senior High School
D’Evelyn offers postsecondary opportunities. We have several AP classes that can earn college credit, as well as some options for concurrent and dual enrollment.
The Accuplacer and executive internships are available on a case-by-case basis.
Please see your counselor for all options as well as with any questions.
Advanced Placement (AP)
AP courses at D’Evelyn are academically challenging and offer a path to earn college credit.
ASCENT and TREP Scholarship Programs
ASCENT and TREP help students continue their postsecondary education using state funds to cover college tuition and fees.
Concurrent Enrollment
Concurrent enrollment allows D’Evelyn students to enroll in and earn college credits while still in high school.
Dual Enrollment
Dual enrollment provides opportunities for students to enroll in college and earn college credit.
Executive Internships
The Executive High School Internship Program is a highly competitive program that offers students professional experiences in a real-world setting. Although the Executive Internship Program does not fall within the liberal arts philosophy, it is supported because it allows for career exploration during the senior year after the majority of the liberal arts foundation has been laid.
This program offers seniors an opportunity to gain experience in a chosen profession/technical career under the supervision of an experienced employer. Students earn a mark of Pass or Fail for this course. Students meet in the counseling office on days when they are not on-site for their internship.
