Library & Research
The D’Evelyn library collects, organizes and provides access to and services for a rich and unique record of human thought and creativity to faculty, students, staff and parents. We foster intellectual growth and support the educational philosophy, liberal arts curriculum and research missions of D’Evelyn.
Our library provides a program that incorporates curriculum, technology and staffing to enable library users to retrieve, evaluate and utilize information as well as develop a love of reading and lifelong learning. The goal of the D’Evelyn library is to create an environment in which students are empowered to be effective users of information and technology.
Our library serves over 1,200 students in grades 6-12. Our library collection has more than 9,000 print volumes catered specifically to the D'Evelyn curriculum and integrated access to non-print volumes through Boundless in partnership with the Jefferson County Public Library.
Students also have access to more than 125 full-text online databases through a partnership with Jefferson County Public Library.
