Individualized Career & Academic Plan (ICAP)
ICAP at D’Evelyn Junior-Senior High School
ICAP is a multi-year process that starts in sixth grade and is developed and reviewed throughout the junior high and high school career. It intentionally guides students and families in the exploration of career, academic and postsecondary opportunities.
The goal is for students to develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes and skills to create their own plan for career and college readiness.
Counselors meet with students one to two times per semester to go over the required material, and to help students explore future career and college opportunities.
