Come see student performances of poems, stories, and drama excerpts in the Oral Interpretation Showcase on Monday, May 13th at 7 PM in the D'Evelyn library. The show will be one hour. We'd love to see you there!
Dennison Lakeside Night will be May 13 gates open at 5:30. The cost will be $15 a person. Rain date will be May 20. Stop by the financial office if you would like to buy a ticket or two!
DAZZLING JAGS:
Congratulations to James “Mikey” O’Connell for setting a record for D’Evelyn in the 400 M Dash! During the Jeffco League Championships on Saturday, he ran a 50.33 in the 400 M, which broke the previous D’Evelyn record of 50.35.
The Girls Soccer Team won the Jeffco 4A League Championship! They finished the regular season with an overall record of 9-4-1 and were 7-1 in conference play. Based on conference records, they were in a 3-way tie for 1st place with Evergreen and Golden, but thanks to the goal tiebreaker, the Jaguars were declared the League Champions! They have also qualified for the State Tournament that starts this week. They will play their 1st round game of the 4A State Tournament this Wednesday, May 8th at Coronado High School. Start time is 6:00 pm.
